Advanced Level Training

Bimonthly sessions focusing on technique, performance, and artistry development to refine your dance skills. Discounts on additional training through Aisha Studios.

Special Workshops

Exclusive access to organized workshops with master instructors who will help you elevate your craft (last year we studied with the famed Tarifa Salem!)

Mentorship

Personalized mentorship is given to all dancers (and more extensively to pre-professionals) to help you overcome artistic and professional challenges, ensuring you reach your highest potential,

Choreography Rehearsals

Monthly rehearsals to perfect choreography for our stage performances, work on stagecraft, and grow as a team.

Paid Gigs + Gig Training

Professional-level dancers will have the chance to perform at paid events, showing their talent and earning for their art. Pre-professionals will receive training opportunities to prepare for paid gigs.

National Performance Opportunities

NCBE already has opportunities set up to perform on a national stage, allowing you the opportunity to gain exposure and experience in the larger dance community

NC Bellydance Entertainment is perfect for you if

  • You have studied bellydance to at least the intermediate level (for pre-professional dancers) or advanced level (for professionals)

  • You’re a self motivated dancer that has the desire to go big or go home. You are eager to work on material + stay up to date on info so you can grow in your dance and shine on stage.

  • You have around 10 hours a month to dedicate to class, rehearsals, and personal dance training.**

  • You are willing to invest in monthly membership dues and up to $600 yearly in costuming.

    • Professional Monthly Dues: $110/mo

    • Apprentice Monthly Dues: $150/mo (includes 30 min monthly checkin to talk about goals and dance progress)

**while all regular classes and rehearsals are in-person in Triangle, NC, some accommodations can be made for virtual participation. Email if you don’t live near the Triangle and are curious as to how you can participate.

Deadline to register is July 14

Step 1: Fill out and submit the Audition Registration form below

Step 2: Sign up for the July 18 Performance Development class here

  • You’ll take this class as a part of your audition.

Step 3: Be on the lookout for next steps in an email from info@aisha-studios.com.

  • This email will contain the short choreography you’ll perform immediately AFTER the July 18 class. You’ll need to learn this choreography prior to attending the July 18 class.

  • Be sure to complete BOTH Steps 1 & 2! You will not receive this email if both aren’t completed.

For all those who audition and are ready for NCBE, they’ll be offered a spot in the company with one of following statuses:

  • Professional - a full member of the company that is capable of working paid gigs

  • Apprentice - a full member of the company that is capable of performing at community events and is training for paid gigs

If you audition but are not quite ready for NCBE, you’ll be offered a spot in Aisha Studios’ Fall Performance Troupe. This will be a fantastic opportunity to continue building your skills so that you will be ready for NCBE and the level of training necessary to be a professional.
